Health Careers Camp
Come and experience what it's like to care for people! In Health Careers Camp you will learn what it's like to be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Medical Assistant (MA), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). We will teach you how to perform essential job duties related to each career and have some fun while you learn. You will put what you learn into action in a state-of-the-art Health Simulation Facility while working with mannequins that talk, breathe, blink and respond just like a real person! We will utilize the latest audio video technology to record these sessions for later playback and review. See how these situations play out on the big screen.
