Mark Whipple Football School I | Gillette
2017 Mark Whipple Football School
Walk-ups are welcome. The price for walk-ups will be $75 for the Gillette date, and $65 for the Amherst date.
Please have a copy of your most recent physical with you at check-in.
The UMass football staff will host position specific high school football clinics on two separate dates in the month of June. One of the clinics will be held on the campus of UMass in Amherst, Massachusetts at McGuirk Stadium. The other will take place at the 2nd home of the Minutemen, Gillette Stadium, the premiere sports facility in the country and home of the New England Patriots. That date is TBD.
Please be aware that helmets, cleats, and other football equipment will not be provided. Please be sure to bring your own helmet, pair of cleats, and appropriate clothes for the day; this will be a non-padded practice.
These schools are available to all positions. Athletes are encouraged to attend in order to test their skills against some of the top athletes in the area. They will go through several drills to open the day, including the 40-yard dash, shuttle, vertical jump and have their height, weight, and arm length measured. There will then be an emphasis on position specific skill development and exposure to the UMass football coaching staff. Our goal is to make every attendee a more confident and better-equipped football player.
Visiting coaches from conferences around the Northeast will also be in attendance, including the CAA, Patriot League, Ivy League, as well as D2 and D3 representation.
Please Note: All attendees MUST turn in a physical from within the 24 months prior to the clinic date. This can be turned in the day-of with a hard copy, or emailed to UMass Football Staff Here prior to the clinic. Insurance Card information listed on the registration sheet must also be filled out. If you do not have these two items, you may not participate.
Walk-up registration will be available and will require credit card or cash payment. We will not accept checks. It will also incur a $10 extra fee per attendee.
