Miner Volleyball Camps
2012 MINER VOLLEYBALL CAMPS
| General All-Skills Camp July 16-18 (Mon.-Wed.) Grades 4-10 / Girls Resident (overnight, all meals) $280 Commuter w/ Meals (lunch & dinner) $210 Commuter (no meals) $170 |
• General All-Skills camp is for incoming 4th-10th grade girls of any experience level. This camp is designed to increase the overall development of every player regardless of skill level.
• The General All-Skills camp will provide volleyball fundamentals through individual skill instruction, while also allowing campers to learn team concepts as well as compete in league games & tournaments. Campers will be tested and combined with similar skill levels for drills and competitions.
Check-In: Monday July 16 11am-12:30pm
Camp Starts: Monday July 16 1pm
Camp Ends: Wednesday July 18 4:30pm
Volleyballs & Miner Merchandise
All campers will receive either a camp T-shirt or a camp volleyball for participation in camp. Additional Missouri S&T Miner Volleyball merchandise, as well as drinks and snacks, will also be available at the camp store.
Resident Camper Info. & Meals
Volleyball resident campers will be housed in campus residence halls and will be served nutritious all-you-can-eat meals. Commuter campers may also purchase meal tickets for lunch and dinner during camp or bring their own meals and eat on campus with other campers. A limited number of residential hall rooms are available so please register early. Experienced counselors and camp coaches are on duty on a full-time basis both in the residence halls and in the gym. Excellent medical attention is also available nearby. We will do our best to accommodate all roommate requests , however there are no guarantee that requests will be awarded. There will only be two campers per room. Please write the name of preferred roommate on the registration form under CAMPER TYPE.
Arrival & Departure
Check the Camp Descriptions (left) for correct dates and times for each camp session. Camp information including check-in/departure location/times and what to bring will be sent once registered, along with a confirmation letter via email. Both the General All-Skills Camp and the Advanced Specialty Camp end at approximately 4:30pm following a short awards ceremony. Resident campers will then check out of the residence halls.
Enrollment & Fees
A full payment for enrollment or a $60.00 deposit is required for all campers with their Registration Form online or on other side. Remaining payment should be sent prior to the start of camp or may be paid at check-in. We will accept campers, including overnight campers, all the way up until the start of camp, however there will be a $10 price increase per camper for day-of registrations.
