"Resident" campers stay in campus housing during camp.

This camp will teach the fundamentals of volleyball using simple techniques for each skill and quickly advancing to game application. Campers will be grouped according to ability and experience. Our system of grouping the camp by age and skill level will allow campers to be placed where they will be capably challenged to improve at each session. Our camp is designed to quickly build understanding of the game for beginners and also be challenging for experienced volleyball players. Head Coach Ricci Luyties will instruct each skill using members of the UC San Diego Women’s Volleyball team to demonstrate. Campers will practice the skills in groups with one coach for approximately eight campers.

Resident campers will stay in campus dormitories chaperoned by members of the UC San Diego Women’s team. Transportation to and from the San Diego airport is not provided by the camp staff, but can be arranged through Cloud 9 SuperShuttle or a local shuttle service of your choice. Reservations for Cloud 9 SuperShuttle service can be made online at cloud9shuttle.com. Please schedule flights as close to the check in and check out times as possible.

Camp Refund Policy:
Before July 1st, 50% refund available. After July 1st, no refund possible.
